Abstract:

In fluid dynamics, the finite propagation of waves, the collision of particles and the interaction between various forces all reflect the spatial-temporal correlation effect. In this paper, CFD will be discussed from the perspective of computation methods, i.e. the spatial-temporal correlation of fluid dynamics models and the spatial-temporal coupling of computation methods. Starting from the modeling of fluid dynamics microcluster method, this paper clarifies the meaning of model spatial-temporal correlation, establishes the basic principle of finite volume format, elaborates the necessity of algorithm spatial-temporal coupling, and aligns the physical modeling of basic control equations of fluid dynamics with the mathematical principle of finite volume format. In practice, the design idea of the spatial-temporal coupled high-precision numerical method is given, and arithmetic examples are used to compare its difference with the spatial-temporal decoupling method. It is expected that the establishment of the spatial-temporal outlook will be helpful for future algorithm researches on CFD.
